Urgent Support for Ash and Layla's Recovery

Story

I'm (Chris) making this gofundme for my girlfriend, Ash and her dog, Layla. While on a hike near a river Saturday afternoon, Layla was bitten by a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. She was just ahead of us on the trail and before we could ever see what was happening, she was running from a loud rattling snake. We ran to the top of the hike and rushed her to an emergency vet. the veterinary bill for just starting to treat her for a snake bite is astronomical. Neither of us are rich but we would give anything for her. Layla is an extension of Ash and she gives them everything. We don’t yet know if she is going to make it but all we can do now is throw money at the vet and hope that she pulls through. Anything you can do to help is very much appreciated. Thank you for you time ❤️ UPDATE: Layla has been home recovering from the rattlesnake bite since Sunday, and is reacting well to the antivenin and pain medication. She is spending a lot of time resting, is eating well and showing signs of a full recovery. We are extremely grateful for all of the support and love being sent our way. The donations have been helpful in relieving some of the stress of the enormous vet bills. We are still accepting donations in hopes to cover the entire bill and are greatly appreciative of everyone’s help with this ❤️
