On June 20th, 2025, my husband was arrested for domestic battery. Since his arrest, he has completely abandoned our three children and me. He gave me no choice but to be a stay-at-home mom, and he left me with no money and no access to work or childcare. He stopped paying our rent, and I was given one week to move out of the home our children knew and loved in order to avoid having an eviction on my record. He took our family SUV and left me with his sedan, which does not have enough space to fit my children's three car seats, so I am left unable to safely transport them with my vehicle.

For the last month, I have spent every waking moment rebuilding my life from nothing with no support from the man that I started this family with. I'm doing it all while taking care of three children under the age of 5, including one with medical complexities.

I've applied for all of the assistance I need, but these systems take time to process, and the longer I wait for approval, the more desperate my situation becomes. I have to find a way to provide for my children in the meantime. Right now, I have nothing.
