Recently, Darryl Nash was diagnosed with severe right hip issues, including a cyst in the hip socket and advanced degeneration leading to bone-on-bone contact of his right hip. His doctor has advised that he must undergo a hip replacement surgery to prevent a potentially devastating fracture of his pelvis, which could occur with just one bad fall.

The financial burden is proving to be a significant challenge. The total cost for the necessary tests, surgery, post-operative physical therapy, and time off work for recovery amounts to $24,550.00. Unfortunately, Darryl does not have any insurance, paid time off, or any form of disability insurance through his job to help cover these expenses.

The timeline is critical; the doctor's office requires full payment a week before the scheduled surgery in December. This means we have limited time to raise the funds needed to secure his procedure and ensure that he can recover safely.
