Well folks, my name is Bart Trotter and I have been battling ALS for the last 10 years! The life expectancy of an ALS patient is 2 to 5 years, and I have already doubled that! But, it’s time for me to get a new wheelchair because mine broke and it was 7 years old. Medicare will only cover 80%, plus they don’t cover any of my stander options for my wheelchair like I have been in for the last 7 years.

I require a Permobil F5VS and the “VS” stands for Vertical Stander. It alone costs $12,000! And that’s what I desperately need help with!!!

This past month, I have been bedridden because my old wheelchair broke and Medicare will replace one every 5 years. So I need a new one yesterday! It’s going to take about 3 to 4 months to get here once I can get the money together to even order it. So any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated!!!

I will be a very happy man to be able to get my new wheelchair! I’m bedridden until I can get a new one, so time is of the essence! Please help in any way you can, and if you can only send prayers, those are extremely helpful in accomplishing my goal!!!
