My name is Kathleen Keane. In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, I am raising money for emergency supplies for the family of Marlon McKenzie. I know Marlon through my work as a nurse and I am assisting him with this project here in Maine.

Marlon's partner Audrey and daughter Amira are in Jamaica, and due to the extensive flooding, they are in temporary housing.

There was a 6-foot storm surge where they lived, and they have no power, no running water, and Amira cannot go to school. They are in need of clothes, linens, shoes, household items, and supplies as they begin to rebuild.

Marlon will be using this money for buying supplies including nonperishable food items and stocking a shipping carton with them. He is hoping to be able to help them purchase a generator.His goal is to ship these supplies as soon as possible.
