Urgent: Help Give Bernard a Jewish Burial

Two weeks ago, Bernard passed away. He has been lying in a hospital morgue ever since, alone, unclaimed, waiting.

Yesterday, Chaplain Wilson called. I could tell from his voice that this one was different. A Jewish man had passed, his family was struggling, and time was running out. "Can you help?" he asked.

I reached out to the family right away. They were grateful, but what I heard next stopped me cold. They had been planning a cremation for their loved one and needed assistance with that.

I couldn't let that happen.

After a gentle conversation, and with the promise that our community would step in and cover every cost, something miraculous happened. The family said yes. They changed their plans and agreed to a Jewish burial!

But we need your help to keep that promise.
