This is a VERY URGENT PLEA>
Many of you know there are lots of round-up's going on in Nevada. The horse advocates continue to fight for our wild mustangs before Congress, BUT OUR HORSES ARE BEING PULLED OFF THE PLAINS IN RECORD NUMBERS.
In 13 years I have never had a deadline of 10pm...TONIGHT! This is very disturbing. It translates to MANY horses rounded up and being processed.
I have 4 pregnant mares waiting to ship. THAT is 8 Lives that we can save. I was contacted this morning about this situation, but could not ask for funds until I was certain the mares had vetted homes to go to. They cannot come here as we are full.
Homes have now been secured and my race begins to raise the ransom. They are nameless, not sure if they have even been tagged yet. 3017, 3018, 3020 and 3022 are the numbers.
How sad to be pulled from your freedom, the only life you've ever known and separated from your band, your family, and all that is familiar. Never touched by humans, and their first encounter is a terrifying helicopter. Many foals run to their death. These horses come in so traumatized.
Please help PMR get these 4 mares to safety. Their homes will be under a non-breeding, non- school horse contract.
