URGENT NEED: Emergency Housing for Mother & 3 Young Kids
Donation protected
URGENT: A mother and her three young children need emergency shelter TODAY.
A courageous mother and her three young sons (ages 7, 8, and 9) recently fled an abusive environment in Southern California. With no resources and sleeping out of her car, Safe Passage is working on finding transitional housing for the family to start a new life. Now, they urgently need emergency housing and support to begin their path to safety, healing, and stability.
What Your Donation Will Do:
Through Safe Passage Heals, your gift will directly fund:
- Essentials like food, clothing, and hygiene items
- Therapy and trauma counseling
- Support for long-term housing and job training
We have a safe space ready- we just need the funds to get her there.
Why This Matters:
At Safe Passage Heals, we are a non-profit that serves women and children who are escaping domestic violence and need a second chance. This mother is doing everything she can to protect her children. Now it’s our turn to protect them, too.
We are currently seeing a growing waitlist of mothers and children in similar situations. Committed to providing immediate protection and long-term healing, these transitions take resources- and that’s where your support becomes life-changing. Your donation today doesn’t just help one family, it helps a movement toward safety and dignity for all.
How You Can Help:
- $25: A transportation fund for a bus pass or gasoline
- $50: A meal for mother and her child
- $100- $200: Emergency Needs, like food and supplies
- $300- $500: Counseling Session for healing
- $1000: Funds one Woman for the “Stepping Stones to a New Life” 2-month Program
You can always mail a check to Safe Passage at 7120 Hayvenhurst Ave. suite 314, Van Nuys, CA. 91406
