I've never felt so helpless when my co-worker shared her story of her financial freefall she is facing. I decided to step up and do something with the help of others, hence this GoFundMe. Simply put, please donate if you can, share if you can, or pray for her and her kids that GOD takes her troubles away!

Short story,

Summer of 2024, as a single (for 7 years) mother of 2 teenage daughters (15 and 17 at the time), she was blindsided with an abrupt and unprovoked end to financial support from the children's father (Abusive, Vindictive, Cheater, Moved out of State, Army Dishonorably Discharged). In addition, he demanded the car in use be handed over because it was acquired during their time together. She complied for peace from his threats and rushed to purchase a vehicle that was out of her now diminished budget.

Moving on... her cost of living is now in the red. Things start piling up: TEP, credit cards, savings, 401k, and she has to call the bank to ask them to take the car back (got a repo on her credit). The apartment that once housed 3 plus their emotional support dog was unaffordable, so she downsized and barely scraped the money to make the payments between the new deposit and paying the previous apartment's last month with no deposit return (lived there 12 years and was always on time till the final month).

Now June '24, my home skillet moves her and the fam into the new place, a peaceful place, and things were good until November (remember her car was "repo'd"). The family loaned truck started fussing, so she takes it to Midas for repairs (receipts in media section). This is where the EMOTIONAL, SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL, MENTAL, and FINANCIAL begins suffocating and wilting everything that was just becoming anew.

I'd continue recreating what she told me but I'm in tears, but to quicken things; November repairs took rent (child support $0); November Eviction Court Required October Paid Also: PAID IT!
