Urgent: Secure Housing for B. DeVeaux
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is B. DeVeaux and since 2021, I have been navigating the challenges of housing instability. It’s been a long, difficult road, and I've been told that I need to vacate the current space I'm in, no later than April 25th. Through community and alignment, a few spots in a shared Black and Brown, Queer home just opened. I believe I’ve finally found a safe space where I can truly ground myself, grow, and thrive, and that God is making a way forward.
With that being said, I’m reaching out with an urgent request: I need to raise $3,000 by April 20th to secure my housing. This amount will cover the deposit, first month’s rent, and moving expenses. It’s a high-stakes, time-sensitive moment, and I need support to make it through.
This isn’t just about a roof over my head. This home represents a turning point for me, a portal if you will; a place of safety and stability from which I can step fully into my artistic journey. I am currently preparing to release my first full-length studio project, and begin my role as the Esata Understudy in Co-Founders’ premiere production with A.C.T. These are major milestones for me and my career. Your donation will help ensure I can pursue them from a place of security, not survival.
If you’re able to give—whether it’s $5, $50, or more—or share this with your community, it would mean the world. Your support is helping me lay the foundation for a future that honors my resilience, my artistry, and my becoming.
With deep and sincere gratitude,
B. DeVeaux
