Save Our Gymnastics Club – Help Our Kids Keep Training!
We're reaching out to our community with heavy hearts to hopefully save our club.
Due to an unexpected breakdown within the management team, our local gymnastics club is at risk of closing its doors—leaving over 500 children without a place to train, grow, and chase their dreams.
Over the weekend it has come to light that our children’s gymnastics centre has abruptly been stripped of the majority of the training equipment by a sole director that has taken it upon himself to empty the facility. Effectively shutting down safe training opportunities for all of the members. This has been carried out without any prior notice to parents or gymnasts.
The director has moved operations to a new location under a newly established Community Interest Company (CIC), effectively abandoning the existing club and its community. The sudden transition has caused confusion and frustration among families, many of whom have invested years into the original club. Questions remain about the motives behind the move and the impact on the children without a place to train.
This club has been more than just a gym— for some it’s a second home and safe place.
A place where they've built confidence, friendships, discipline, and memories that will last a lifetime. For many of these kids, gymnastics is their passion and escape, and losing this space would be devastating.
We’re raising funds to keep the club alive.
Your donation will help us:
* Secure a temporary training location or facility
* Cover coaching and equipment costs
* Establish a new management structure
* Ensure uninterrupted training for the children
Every ££ counts. Whether you’re a parent, a gymnastics lover, or someone who believes in the power of sports to change lives—we need your support.
Please help us to give these kids a fighting chance to keep doing what they love. Thank you for the support.
