- Hey everyone, my name is Adriana. I’m a single mother of three handsome boys! We’re located in Alabama, looking to relocate to Florida. I’m on the brink of being homeless; I could be losing my apartment in the next month or so. And my kids and I have nowhere to go, literally nowhere to go. I have been harassed and abused for the last 6-7 years, and it’s costing me everything I have. This will be the third time I’m getting put out of my place where my kids call home because of others' actions. My kids are 6, 5, and 2. I can’t be out here on the streets, or else I’ll eventually lose them too, and they are all I have. I have done some research and reached out to people down in Florida. I have also applied for housing there as well. I just don’t have any money. I don’t work because I’m my kids' only support. I’m the one they depend on 24/7, so me working doesn’t always work out. My dad helps me out as much as possible, and so does my mother. But we all have stuff we’re dealing with. I just want to get away and start a new life for my kids and for myself too! I don’t feel safe here, and I feel like if I don’t leave, somebody will harm me or vice versa. I’m just a young mom trying to figure this life thing out while still trying to make sure my kids are happy and have what they need. It’s so hard out here, and it’s so hard to get anyone to help you. I had to put my pride to the side so I could get some help. To anybody who donates, please know that anything is appreciated. If I reach my limit, I will be using it for expenses to travel.
