Hi, my name is Serenity.

I moved to Tallahassee in September with no car, everything I could carry, and very limited resources. I used my last paycheck from my visual manager role in Pennsylvania to avoid immediate homelessness and create a new beginning. Over the past two years, I’ve had little to no stability and have struggled with staying housed. Since I’ve been here, I’ve been working nonstop and took on a sales job to support myself.

Unfortunately, January has been extremely slow for sales, and I also lost my second job in December. On top of that, my food stamps were cut off, which made it even harder to cover basic expenses. Because of this, I haven’t been able to afford January rent and am now facing possible eviction if I can’t pay what’s owed before the 30th.

I’m actively working and continuing to push for income, but I’ve hit a temporary gap that I can’t bridge alone. Any help, whether donating or sharing, would help me stay housed while I get through this slow period and back on my feet.

Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can give. It truly means everything right now.

With sincere gratitude,

Serenity
