My name is Zachary Mckinnis. I live in an apartment with my mom, Tina. A month and a half ago, after making a mistake at work, I was fired on the spot. To make matters worse, my mom works as a substitute teacher and was unable to find work over the summer, so for the last month and a half, our only income has been what we've been managing to scrape together.

We've been struggling to make ends meet for years now, ever since my mom's fiancé ghosted her. Losing my job was the final nail in the coffin. To make matters even worse, we usually have until the 7th to pay every month before we get a "Pay or Quit" notice, but this month, the notice arrived two days early. We need help. I have a promising job interview within the week, and my mom has returned to work thanks to the new school year starting. This one month. If we can pay this one singular month's rent payment, we can start to get back on our feet. We just need to make it through this ONE. MONTH.

All we need is rent. The car payment, insurance, gas, utilities- we can handle everything else. Rent is our last hurdle. Please help us. However much you can give is enough. Any amount helps. We just need to get through this month. Please. And thank you.

Update: Management got back with us and told us the early Pay or Quit notice was a mistake. We have until the 10th, as usual. Two whole extra days is huge, but we still need whatever help we can get.
