We are reaching out to you for your urgent support for bedridden patients who are in dire need of nutrition and bedside assistance in Tigray, Ethiopia. These patients are unable to undergo necessary surgical procedures due to their weakened physical condition resulting from lack of food and nutrition.

Tigray has endured a devastating two-years war, resulting in the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives. Survivors have suffered amputations and other injuries, leaving many bedbound and left to die.

Seven months ago, we, a small group of volunteer humanitarians from around the world came together to assist 360 critically ill patients with nutritional and basic bedside care. This includes:

Essential nutrition: Our program prioritizes providing a scientifically formulated diet rich in essential vitamins and minerals. This nourishment acts as the building block for recovery, strengthening immune systems to combat infections and facilitating tissue repair necessary for successful surgeries.

Bedside care: Our medical professionals go beyond simply providing food but also providing pain relief medicines and antibiotics. They become companions and caregivers, assisting patients with essential daily needs such as hygiene management, medication administration, and emotional support. This care ensures recovery promoting healing and well-being.

As a result of your generous contributions, so far, we were able to save a few precious lives. However, we still have many critically ill patients to save.

Thanks to this program, we started with 360 patients, remarkably 178 patients have regained their strength and now are capable of handling life-changing surgeries! This opens the door for them to heal and recover from bedridden illness.

We have now expanded our program to include more patients, therefore we need your urgent support to meet the needs of these additional patients.
