My name is Shawnna Johnson (Lisa). I reside in Florida and I’m seeking urgent assistance. On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, made direct landfall in Westmoreland, Jamaica, leaving behind unimaginable destruction. My family and many others in the community have lost nearly everything: homes, crops, belongings, and, tragically, even loved ones.

The hurricane’s powerful winds and storm surge tore through the area, flattening houses and uprooting lives. Since Tuesday, survivors have been struggling without clean drinking water, food, medical aid, electricity, and transportation. Roofs are gone, roads are blocked, some severely damaged and communication has been almost impossible. The community that once thrived now looks desolate, with families trying desperately to meet their most basic needs.

I am raising funds to help my family and others in Westmoreland rebuild their lives. Your donations will go directly toward:

• Supplying clean drinking water and food

• Providing medical aid and hygiene supplies

• Helping repair or rebuild damaged homes and roofs

• Supporting transportation and fuel for relief efforts

• Restoring hope and dignity to a community that’s been torn apart
