This is her story: At the beginning of the genocide, she spent the first few months in her home and when the city that she is from, Zaytoun, was invaded she went elsewhere to another place in Gaza. After that, they returned to their home in January of 2024 and spent one month in her home with a lot of fear. On her last night at the house, the Israelis came to her house and took the young men in her family and forced the women to go south. The Israeli soldiers took her father and her younger brothers with them. The women were forced to go south without taking any belongings with them. They placed the youth in the north and took one of her brothers as their prisoner. They tortured him for two months and the family and Nesma knows nothing about him now. Then they broke his captivity. Then her family came to the south - Nesma, her sister, her mother, her brother's wife, and their son. Her situation is very very difficult. They cannot live because of the difficult financial situation and the high prices. They're in desperate need of some help and they also have a small child (her nephew) to take care of and they cannot bring him his own things at the moment like milk and diapers. Her mother is also old and suffering from chronic diseases. They can't get her medicine. They are pleading with anyone who is willing to help to please make a donation to her.
