I am Ramona Freeman. I live in North Carolina and my boyfriend lives in St. James Parish, Jamaica. I am raising hurricane relief funds for Alimayu Lawrence, a/k/a MakBean. His home and village in Jamaica took a direct hit from Hurricane Melissa on Tuesday, which has left him and his neighbors in dire need of help! The road is completely gone as the river is running through it. The location is 20-25 minutes from Montego Bay, in the hills, with no power, water, food, internet services, or transportation. They need help desperately now, as do all of the people of Jamaica who have lost everything! Thank you for anything you are able to give to help MakBean and his village recover as they need help desperately until the people of Jamaica can rebuild their lives stronger and better than ever, as they are the most resilient people I've ever known!
