Urgent Relief for Kavrepalanchok Flood Victims

Hello, my name is Sapana Lama, and I currently live in Virginia, USA. From September 26-28, 2024, the peaceful hills of Kavrepalanchok, Nepal, were struck by a devastating flood that forever changed the lives of its residents. Intense monsoon rains caused rivers to overflow, sweeping away homes, farmland, and livestock. Entire villages were submerged, leaving families without food, clean water, or shelter.

My family, who live in Namobuddha Municipality 10, was among those affected. They watched helplessly as our home was swallowed by the landslides and flooding.

I’ve started this GoFundMe campaign to provide urgent relief for my family and other families in the same village. Donations will be used to provide critical essentials—food, clean water, medical care, and shelter. The people of Kavrepalanchok are resilient, but they cannot rebuild alone.
