Urgent Relief for Fouad Breik's Family in Gaza
Donation protected
Update on August 2, 2025. Here is a recent picture of Khadija. She is good but Fouad has lost two teeth from poor nutrition. And the rest of the family has been suffering from a Covid type of influenza. I keep hoping for a miracle to bring the starvation and violence to an end. I hope the tide is turning. Inshallah! Peace.
Update on April 9, 2025. This is Khadija about a month or so ,when there was a brief period of ceasefire in Gaza. She about 9 months old As of mid March they started bombing and shooting again. The borders are blocked from goods of any kind coming in.
Everything has increased in price to ridiculous levels: Diapers $100. Milk $50. Clothes $100 per person. They need a new tent which is $300.
The amount of food, drink, and rice needed is estimated at $400 for a large family per week.
My friend Fouad is also losing his teeth and will need dentures. He just turned 32.
Please consider a donation, even if you have donated before. Any amount helps. Peace.

Update July 5th. Khadija is one month old! She doesn't like breast milk so the family has to buy soy milk for her. And they had to flee Rafah a couple weeks ago to Nuseirat because of the increase in attacks. Imagine relocating with your family members, a baby and several children, older grandparents and a disabled adult! I can't!
Update: Welcome to the world Khadija! Khadija was born perfect, innocent, and beautiful yesterday, the 4th of June 2024. Her mother is recovering from a c-section (no anesthesia) and will return to the family tent today. Please support these two, they are part of the family!

Hello, my name is Joyce Hoffman. I'm a retired aerospace engineer. Like many of you I have been distressed by the relentless attacks on Gaza and the devastation among the many families who live there, well trying to live there and often times dying. I have been sitting on the fence long enough. I have been lucky to find a way to make contact with a family in Gaza in need.
The family head is Fouad Breik. He is trying to support his parents, sisters, niece and nephews. Karim and Wassim are in the photo above. They along with children Rajab and Lucy need food, water, clothes, shelter and a childhood that is safe.
They have all just lost their home since the Rafah invasion began. Fouad has an older sister too with special needs who has a mobility disability and cannot walk. She is pregnant and after a week she will have a cesarean section because she cannot give birth otherwise. He borrows his cousin's wheelchair for her to go to the hospital to check on her and the baby's health.
Fouad's parents are also in poor health and they need treatment for orthopedic injuries, diabetes and high blood pressure.
Please consider donating to relieve some of their suffering. Thank you.
