At 5am we woke up floating on our beds in 5 feet of flood water and had to figure out a way to evacuate with our 5 year old son. Water completely submerged our apartment and ruined everything in it.

Unfortunately, the renters insurance we have with the apartment does not cover personal belongings; it only covers “structural damage”.

We are requesting help in any way, shape or form and are appreciative of EVERYTHING! ❤️
