Eritrean Relief and Rehabilitation Association (ERRA) is a California-based nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide vital relief and rehabilitation services to Eritrean refugees worldwide in education, advocacy, and public outreach to combat human rights abuses against Eritreans wherever they seek refuge.
At this moment, the urgency is to help refugees in Sudan & Ethiopia. Sudan and Ethiopia are the immediate temporary refuge for many Eritreans who fled their country. The situation for Eritrean refugees in Sudan and Ethiopia is dire. Many Eritrean refugees have found themselves caught in the crossfire of Sudanese and Ethiopian ongoing civil wars. They face significant challenges, including the risk of being detained, kidnapped by criminals, or being deported back to the country they fled from. The current conflicts have exacerbated their already precarious situation, denying them a safe and stable place of refuge.
