Hello, my name is Lorraine Fernandez, originally from Toledo City, Cebu, and I am currently living in the Netherlands, where I work as a nurse. I am reaching out with a humble request to help support families across Cebu who have been deeply affected by Typhoon Kalmaegi (Tino). Many homes have been damaged, flooding has displaced families, and access to basic necessities is limited.

This tragedy comes just weeks after the earthquake in October, which had already left many communities vulnerable and struggling to recover. Now, with the typhoon hitting so soon after, many families are left feeling hopeless, overwhelmed, and unsure where help will come from.

As a nurse, caring for others is who I am — and even though I am far away, my heart remains with my people in Cebu. I am organizing this fundraiser to provide immediate relief to families who are in urgent need of:

• Clean drinking water

• Food and basic meals

• Dry clothing and blankets

• Hygiene essentials

• Emergency and first-aid supplies

Even the smallest help can provide comfort, warmth, and hope to someone who currently has none. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will directly support Cebu families who are currently fighting through hardship and uncertainty.
