Help Baraa and His Family Find Safety and Stability

Meet Baraa, a 25-year-old pharmacist from Gaza. Baraa and his family, including his 8-month-pregnant sister-in-law, his mother (who suffers from respiratory illness), and his two younger sisters, aged 13 and 17, live in Khan Yunis, just outside of Rafah. Their lives were destroyed when their city was bombed in January 2024.

Since then, Baraa and his family (8 people total) have relocated four different times due to continued bombing.

The Situation

Baraa and his family urgently need our help. The bombing not only destroyed their home but also Baraa's pharmacy, leaving them without a source of income. They are struggling to survive without basic necessities such as food, cooking gas, and proper shelter. The current conditions are dire and unsafe, especially for Baraa’s pregnant sister-in-law and his mother with medical issues. They need to evacuate Gaza to a safer area where they can rebuild their lives and provide a healthy environment for the family. Additionally, they need funds to for their day-to-day survival.

Our Goal

We are raising funds to support Baraa and his family in the following ways:

Transportation: To move them to a secure location where they can live without fear.

Food and Cooking Gas: To provide nourishment and the means to cook their meals.

Medical Care/Medicine: Ensuring proper healthcare for Baraa’s pregnant sister-in-law, his mother, and other members of the family.

Essential Supplies: Meeting their everyday needs

Evacuation Costs: Assisting with the expenses required to evacuate from their current dangerous situation (usually $5,000 a family, but often more)
