Hurricane Melissa devastated my family in Jamaica, and for days we didn’t know if they were alive. When we finally heard from them, they had lost almost everything — and all they truly have left is life.

My name is Asha Adira, and I live in Richmond, Texas. I am organizing this fundraiser for my uncle and cousins, who live together in Jamaica and were directly impacted by the hurricane. I will be responsible for collecting the funds and sending directly to them for food, clean water, clothing, hygiene items, medication, and other basic necessities needed during this difficult time.
