My name is Moaaz from the Netherlands, and I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Mohammed from Gaza. Mohammed's life was shattered when a bomb directly hit his home in Rafah, killing his two young children, Mahmoud (4) and Adam (3), along with 12 other family members. The tragic attack left Mohammed, his wife Marwa, and six others injured but alive.
Marwa suffered severe head injuries and has undergone multiple surgeries to regain basic functions. She has lost vision in her right eye and requires further specialized surgeries for her eye, skull, and right shoulder. While Mohammed and Marwa have managed to escape to Egypt, the rest of their family is still trapped in Gaza, enduring life-threatening conditions.
There is hope that Marwa can regain vision in her right eye, but she urgently needs specialized medical intervention that is not available in Egypt. The cost of this treatment is beyond what Mohammed and Marwa can afford, and without it, the chance of restoring her sight diminishes every day. Your help is crucial to ensure she receives the care she desperately needs.
Mohammed's father, who is 64, is among the severely injured and cannot cope with the situation. His sister's four children, the oldest just 12, are also injured and struggling in a place with no adequate medical care. Mohammed’s sister, Nidaa, and her husband, Amer, were killed in a different attack that injured their children. These kids are left alone, hurt, and traumatized.
In the midst of this unimaginable grief, Mohammed is doing everything he can to save his family. He has already spent $15,000 to move Marwa to Egypt for treatment. Now, he desperately needs help to evacuate the rest of his injured family from Gaza and to support Marwa’s ongoing medical needs.
**We need to raise €47,500 to achieve these goals:**
1. **Safe Passage**: €20,000 to relocate Mohammed’s remaining family members (father, brother, and two children) from Gaza to Egypt, providing them a safe haven. This includes €5,000 per person and €5,000 for the two children.
2. **Medical Expenses for Marwa**: €15,000 to cover two medical surgeries—one for her skull (€7,000) and one for her eyelid (€3,000)—and €5,000 for eye treatments and follow-up care in the hope that she could see again.
3. **Medical Expenses for Other Family Members**: €5,000 to cover the medical care for the rest of the injured family members.
4. **Living Costs**: €5,000 for the first three months in Egypt to support the rest of the family members.
5. **Rental Costs**: €2,500 for the first three months in Egypt to provide them with a place to live.
In the face of this profound tragedy, we turn to the kindness and compassion of strangers. Your support offers more than just financial relief; it brings hope for a future where Mohammed's family can begin to heal and rebuild their lives. Every donation, no matter how small, lights a path toward recovery and stability.
Please consider helping Mohammed and his family in this dire time of need. Your generosity will make an immeasurable difference in their lives.
Thank you for your kindness and support.

Mohammed narrates the story and says:
While my wife was struggling to survive, I was busy pulling my sons Mahmoud and Adam from the rubble of our house. We had moved from Gaza to Rafah, believing it would be safer following military instructions, but it was targeted by warplanes. This attack resulted in severe brain injuries to my wife, loss of her right eye, and various injuries among my family members. In this event, 12 of my family members were killed, including my two sons, Mahmoud, aged four, and Adam, aged three. Five days have passed since this attack. I have been moving between the operations at the European Gaza Hospital to check if my wife has awakened from her coma and back to our destroyed home to search manually with relatives and neighbors for other bodies under the debris. After the incident, I had surgery on my right shoulder. I buried my young children with my own hands next to other relatives and stayed by my wife's side at the hospital, trying to care for her in these tough conditions. The hospital, overwhelmed by displaced families, lacked proper facilities, beds, and medications. Eventually, I paid a substantial amount ($15,000) to move my wife to Egypt, escaping death and trying to save her life without knowing what the future holds. I won’t dwell on our material losses because lives are more important, but our homes, including those of my father and sisters, were all destroyed. Now in Egypt, the rest of my family remains in Gaza facing death every moment—my father, brother, and two sisters with their families, totaling 13 people. Life in Egypt is difficult as we lost everything and are struggling with high rent despite working in various fields to earn our daily bread. I need help to evacuate the remaining family members after the tragic death of my sister and her husband, leaving behind four children, the eldest being only 12.
