Hi, I’m Ameed, a software engineer from Gaza. My family and I are reaching out for your help during this unimaginably difficult time. The ongoing crisis in Gaza has devastated our lives, leaving us without a home, income, or basic necessities.

We are determined to rebuild, but we cannot do it alone. With your support, we can restore hope and create a brighter future for our family.

Our Story

For over 20 years, my mother was the sole provider for our family, ensuring my siblings and I had a chance at a better future. However, since October 7th, her income has abruptly stopped due to the crisis in Gaza. We’ve been left with no financial means to survive.

Our struggles don’t end there. Over the years, our home was destroyed twice, forcing us to rebuild from nothing. Today, we face unimaginable challenges, including:

Constant displacement (we’ve moved five times searching for safety).

No access to clean drinking water or healthy food.

Living in fear with bombs falling far too close.

Despite these hardships, we hold on to hope. Our dreams keep us going:

My Mother’s Dream: To continue her embroidery work, sharing Palestinian culture and traditions with the world.

My Sister Mai: At 25, she is one of Gaza’s top dentists. She dreams of working abroad to support our family and bring joy to children through her care.

My Brother Basel: A determined final-year software engineering student, whose studies have been disrupted by the destruction of Gaza’s university. Basel is committed to graduating and building a better life.

Our Immediate Needs

Safe Shelter for Six Months - $18,000

This will provide rent and cover basic necessities for my family during this critical recovery period.

Education for Basel - $3,000

Helping my brother complete his degree and secure a stable future.

Starting a Small Family Business - $40,000
