Update!! Toy in photos, & Ranger is home!!!
Ranger had a successful surgery, and he was in care from Thursdays morning to Monday morning. Turns out Ranger didn’t have a sock in him this time, but there was a toy inside his intestines. Good news, he is coming home today (Monday)! He is feeling like himself again, because he trying to running around. He is such a goofball.
Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared the link. My husband and I are truly grateful to have all the support. Ranger wouldn’t be here without all of your support.
Please reach out if anyone needs assistance, we would like to pass the love forwards .

Summary of Rangers Emergency:
Ranger really likes socks, and he has been fortunate to pass them out of his body, but this time he wasn’t so lucky. My husband and I have tried to take extra precautions to keep him from eating socks, but our efforts weren’t good enough. Ranger is currently at the vet taking IV fluids to hydrate and hopefully pass the sock. He has received x-rays which displayed the “sock(s)” are seen in his digestive system, but due to his large size, it is not clear to which part of his intestines ( small or large intestine) the sock is in. I was able to view the x-ray and noticed there was some swelling in his small intestines which could have been the strain of passing the sock through. We are hoping for the best of Ranger passing the sock tonight, but if that doesn’t not happen Rangers best option is surgery. Rangers bill for overnight fluids, antibiotics, x-ray, and observation is estimated $550 - without surgery. Due to financial hardships my family and I have been facing, the upfront payment for surgery is not foreseen without assistance from friends and family. Anything helps. Please message me for additional questions.
When is the Surgery: I plan on getting Ranger in for surgery April 4, 2025, that is, if we raise enough for Rangers cause.
Estimated cost of expenses will include:
Assessment
One overnight stay
One day of IV Fluids
X-Ray
Antibiotics
Surgery
Anything helps! Thank you for your concern and giving at this time.
