URGENT PRAYER & SUPPORT NEEDED for Slavic Turcan & Family

Slavic Turcan, a 38-year-old husband and father to three young children, from Tacoma, was in a tragic accident on June 7, at the sand lake dunes in Oregon. What we know with the information we have from the accident is that there was a mechanical failure with the throttle, causing his quad to accelerate rapidly and lift up the front . With how quickly it lifted it caused him to fall on his back.

Slavic suffered a burst fracture to his T12 vertebra, with bone fragments pressing on his spinal cord. There’s potential permanent spinal damage, and pinched nerves are also suspected.

UPDATE: Slavic’s surgery went according to plan. It’s a long road to recovery from the looks of it right now but we believe his spinal cord injury to he fully healed and restored. Please continue to pray with us!

On top of the emotional and physical weight, the financial burden is immense:

• Helicopter transport alone is around $50,000

• Surgery is estimated at $200,000 (and still pending final cost)
