Urgent Prayer & Relief for the Segui Family

The friends & family of Noah ask your help in raising funds to cover all living expenses for the next 5 months. Saturday October 12th Noah began throwing up, Sunday he was taken to urgent care for head & ear pain. He was prescribed antibiotics but by Tuesday he was only more lethargic & the vomiting continued. Essy brought Noah in again & he was medicated & the Drs suspect a very bad stomach bug but were hopeful the medication would stop the vomiting. By 2am Wednesday he was only worse & was brought back in. Wednesday was full of tests to rule out intestinal complications, all the test came back clear. Then Noah began having seizures. Drs moved quickly suspecting a mass or tumor on the brain. He was intubated to stabilize him as his heart rate and blood pressure continued to drop, & then flown to BC Children’s Hospital he received immediate emergency brain surgery to relive the pressure. After many hours the surgery was successful & pressure was relieved, they were able to remove a cyst, place a drain & remove a portion of the tumor for testing. Noah is sedated & stable, while currently waiting for an MRI. With the MRI a treatment plan will be created.

The road ahead for the Segui family is very long & very hard. We hope that we can all come together to eliminate their financial burden during this time. They will most likely be looking at months of surgeries, testing & recovery. The current goal is to cover 5 months of expenses so Carlos will not need to return to work as an OR nurse during this time. This past year Essy & Carlos purchased their first home & we hope eliminate all fear surrounding their financial needs. This money will also provide for Paisley who just turned 5 & is caught up in the midst of the chaos, fear & instability.
