My name is Taylor Thompson and I am a single mom of three. We have recently fell on hard times and are in need of a little help. Not to long ago I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl. Before she arrived I was working two full time jobs to not only pay bills but to save up for maternity leave as well. Unfortunately I wasn't able to save as much as I had hoped and our savings went quickly. I couldn't pay my power bill in full because it ran so high through the winter months. When my maternity leave ended and I was ready to return to work I was informed that my position had been filled and I was no longer needed at my first job and was given only one day per week at my second job. So I started cleaning houses and babysitting to earn money. A few weeks later I lost my child care, and then my job, which was my main source of income. Not long after I had to spend the majority of my money fixing my car, then came a few broken bones in my foot, and a trip to the hospital for each of my boys. I have called several organizations in hopes that someone could help us and I have had no luck. I have less than two weeks to pay my power bill to avoid disconnection and I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.
