This is Pluto. She’s five years old as of yesterday, actually! She’s always been a tiny little cat, no matter what she ate, and is very picky. Always a playful very rambunctious girl.
A couple of weeks ago, she got really big out of nowhere, and I thought it might’ve been because she was eating more, but I wasn’t sure. She hasn’t been in heat for over a month, she is discharging green/yellow fluid, and she has not much energy and doesn’t want to interact with anything or anyone.
I went to the animal hospital today and they confirmed it is pyometra. Pyometra is life-threatening and surgery is crucial for survival with the possibility that her uterus can rupture leading to potential death. The surgery and anesthesia is $853. This does not include the blood work and x-rays and antibiotics she will also need which is around another $500. I can’t do this by myself and I need help to save her life.
