My dear community, we urgently need your help to save the life of Louis, a beautiful soul who will be euthanized in just 2 days if we cannot raise $6,500 for his life-saving surgery.

Louis was hit by a city bus after a tragic accident — his owner’s neighbor forgot to close the gate. As a result, Louis suffered a femur fracture in three places and a hip dislocation. He now needs two surgeries to repair the damage and walk again. The cost of the surgery is $6,500 plus taxes, and we have only 48 hours to raise it. Otherwise, the clinic will be forced to put him down. Louis is currently at Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud.

I am devastated. I rescued Louis 4 years ago from Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. Their mother had been bitten by a snake and died, leaving 2 pups—just one month old—still clinging to her for milk near highway. I brought the pups to Yerevan and paid for a year of care in a pet foster family until I found loving homes for both in Canada.

Louis found a loving home in Canada with Diane, an amazing woman who adopted two dogs from me, one of whom is disabled. She’s given them both a beautiful life filled with love and care. This was a terrible accident, and I cannot let Louis be euthanized just because of money. Unfortunately, Diane doesn’t have the $6,500 needed to cover the surgery expenses.

I have devoted my life to rescuing animals, but I simply do not have the funds right now to cover this emergency either.

If each person donated $10, we could easily save Louis. Please, I’m begging, every little bit helps. Louis doesn’t deserve to die. He’s young, only 4 y/o, sweet, and full of life. He just needs this second chance.
