Urgent: Please help the Armbruster Family

You must read this story, because it is unbelievable and so heartbreaking. It will make you angry too.
Roberta Armbruster and her partner, Bill Evans, have been together for 30 years. Last week, Bill suffered from a serious stroke. Unfortunately, Bill's green card had expired and he didn't realize it. Because of this, he lost his Medicare/Medicade coverage.  Once his condition was no longer deemed life threatening, Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern said although he couldn't walk and needed rehab, he had to go home because he did not have insurance. Meanwhile, Roberta's daughter has been battling Cancer which has unfortunately spread and is undergoing chemotherapy. Stacey, a single mom and her children currently live with Roberta and Bill. Because of this, they were afraid for Bill to come home from the hospital and possibly expose Stacey and the rest of the family to Covid.  Roberta was trying to work with the hospital social worker to get him another day in the hospital until they figured things out, when a cab pulled up to the house and left Bill on the sidewalk. Didn't even help him to the door. Thanks to Roberta's wonderful son, he was able to get Bill up the stairs where they are quarantining him in the bedroom.
They were able to renew Bill's green card ($550) and are currently waiting for the Medicare/Medicade to kick in which they said would take at least 45 days. In the meantime, Roberta needs help taking care of him at home because he can barely walk, which will need to be paid out of pocket. His medications and follow up appointments are being paid out of pocket as well. They will also have to pay for him to go to a rehab facility which he desperately needs.
This family has not been able to catch a break, but always carry on without a complaint and a smile. They are the nicest people you could ever meet. Stacey's attitude is inspiring and her fight has been fierce. They have never asked for help, no matter how tough things have been, but I felt they are now at the end of their rope and need support from their community.
I met Roberta and Bill 20 years ago when they brought in their beautiful sweet dog, Missy for grooming. My mother lovvveeddd this dog. Missy passed away and they rescued a dog named Ming, who wants to kill us and rip our faces off every time we try to groom him, but we love him so much anyway. The first time he came in, after the groom I asked Roberta where the hell she got that demon from...she laugh and we hoped he'd get better. They never gave up on this little rescue dog. We even had Ming talk to a pet psychic LOL. Bill always comes and stays with us and helps us groom Ming, while Roberta worries and feels bad at home, praying he doesn't give us too hard of a time. What she doesn't realize is we love seeing Ming and our visits with Bill and that they have become family to us. And we want to help them. So please, if you can spare even a few dollars it will go a long way. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
