My name is Slavomira Zittova Alkhatib, and I live in the UK. I am reaching out to you in a time of great need for my brother-in-law Nehad Alkhatib's family in Gaza.
In the heart of the ongoing conflict, Nehad, his wife Abeer, and their 7 children have faced unimaginable hardships. Their home in Gaza City has been destroyed by bombings, leaving them without shelter. Their eldest son, Mahmoud, who had built a small business making neon signs, saw his workshop demolished, along with his dreams of a better future. His sister Salma, a recent civil engineering graduate, has seen her university reduced to rubble, robbing her of her aspirations.
Every day is a battle for survival. My brother-in-law, who has a heart condition, struggles to access essential medication and proper healthcare. The situation in Gaza has made it nearly impossible for him to receive the treatment he urgently needs.
I cannot bear to see my family suffer like this. This is why I am reaching out to you for help. We desperately need funds to evacuate Nehad and his family from Gaza to safety in Egypt. The funds will also cover their medical expenses, including checkups and medications, as well as their living expenses during this challenging time.
