Hi my name is Hadeel Khrais and I live in North Carolina. I’m trying to raise money on behalf of my uncle Ibrahim El-Madhoun and his children. My uncle is a kind, gentle soul who lost everything and is trying to evacuate his four children and elderly dad. Here’s a message from him my uncle Ibrahim:

Hello,

These last seven months I’ve lost nearly everything from Israel’s indiscriminate bombing, including my three-story home, more than 300 extended relatives and my job as a land surveyor.

**My destroyed house. The occupation soldiers entered the house, stole our valuables, and then destroyed it.**

**For months, I slept in a tent in Rafah. Before that, I slept on the stairs of a hospital for weeks**

I managed to evacuate to Cairo a couple of weeks ago with my mother, who was sick, and has since sadly passed after the toll these last several months took on her body.

Most of my family members, including my four children, are dispersed in southern Gaza, some of them in relatives’ homes, others in shelters and tents, suffering from hunger and heat, at the risk of being killed at any time as Israel begins its invasion of Rafah. I hope you will help me evacuate what is left of my family.

Below is a breakdown of expenses:

I don't have any savings, so any remaining money will go toward providing my children with a decent life after their evacuation, including resettling and hopefully rebuilding our home. I'm not sure how long it'll be before I have a job again.

How the money will be securely transferred:

Hadeel will collect the funds from her US-based bank account and transfer it to Ibrahim via Western Union, who will then pay an Egyptian travel agency to evacuate the rest of our family.
