Hello. In November of last year, I was in a car accident that left my vehicle totaled. I was luckily mostly unharmed, but the insurance company did not fully pay off the car. Since then, I have been using Uber to commute to work and necessary outings like laundry, but this has put my finances in an emergency situation.

I am behind on rent, and barely scraping together the money for my basic needs like food and heating, but I have no savings left now. I may wind up without a home or a job if it continues at this rate.

Currently, my in/out look like this:

• Monthly income = $2240
• Monthly expenses = $2560

Without having to Uber to work (~$20 per ride, 10 rides per week), my expenses would be:

• Monthly expenses = $1524

If I can reach my goal of $1,500, I will be able to afford a short buffer in my essentials and a down payment of ~$500 for a used car. Thank you.
