Urgent! Please Help the Younes Family Survive in Gaza

Hello my name is Mili, I’m a nurse, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my fellow coworker and respiratory therapist Emad Younes.

Emad is a Palestinian who I've worked with closely and gotten to know over the last few years. His wife and children are here with him in Montreal however the rest of their family is still home, in Gaza. The aim of this campaign is to help Emad’s family survive the ongoing crisis.

Since October, Emad’s entire family have been enduring the brutal conditions of life in Rafah. Emad has 5 brothers and 4 sisters displaced in Gaza with their spouses, children and grandchildren. This totals to over 70 people. One of his brothers is an OR nurse (pictured below) and one of his sisters is a teacher. They have been trying to survive in Gaza during these long violent months with no stable source of income. Emad has been trying to send what he can. As of May 6th, they were all forcibly displaced as their home has become an invasion zone.

Purpose of the fundraiser:

The aim of this campaign is to help Emad’s family survive the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the forced displacement. This includes food, clean drinking water, tents and other means of shelter, medicine, blankets, and other basic needs. The price for survival is extremely steep.
