900 animals depend on Lucky. And today, Lucky needs our help.
Fundación Lucky Bienestar Animal, in Ecuador, rescues and cares for approximately 900 animals who have been abandoned, abused, hit by vehicles, sick, or found in extremely vulnerable conditions. Many arrived when no one else was willing to help them.
Now, the shelter is facing an urgent veterinary debt.
Veterinarians have continued treating these animals even as the bills have accumulated. But this situation cannot continue indefinitely. If the debt is not paid, Lucky risks losing access to the veterinary care its animals need to survive.
Our goal is to pay the outstanding veterinary debt in full.
This is not simply about paying bills. It means giving Lucky some breathing room so it can use its resources to feed, shelter, medicate, and care for the 900 animals who depend on them every day.
- An animal hit by a vehicle cannot wait.
- A sick animal cannot wait.
- An injured animal cannot wait.
And Lucky cannot wait either.
We want veterinarians to be able to keep saying “yes” when another animal arrives in need of help.

Fundación Lucky Bienestar Animal, en Ecuador, rescata y cuida aproximadamente 900 animales que han sido abandonados, maltratados, atropellados, enfermos o encontrados en condiciones de extrema vulnerabilidad. Muchos llegaron cuando nadie más quiso ayudarlos.
Ahora el refugio enfrenta una urgente deuda veterinaria.
Los veterinarios han seguido atendiendo a estos animales aun cuando las facturas se han acumulado. Pero esta situación no puede continuar indefinidamente. Si las deudas no se pagan, existe el riesgo de que Lucky pierda el acceso a la atención veterinaria que sus animales necesitan para sobrevivir.
Nuestra meta es pagar la deuda veterinaria pendiente en su totalidad.
Esto no significa simplemente pagar facturas. Significa darle a Lucky un respiro para que pueda utilizar sus recursos en alimentar, albergar, medicar y cuidar a los 900 animales que dependen de ellos cada día.
- Un animal atropellado no puede esperar.
- Un animal enfermo no puede esperar.
- Un animal herido no puede esperar.
Y Lucky tampoco puede esperar.
Queremos que los veterinarios puedan seguir diciendo “sí” cuando llegue otro animal que necesite ayuda.
