My name is Lisa Flud. I'm starting a GoFundMe for my sister, Paula Clark. She is a retired nurse. Until recently, she was still working PRN to supplement her income to pay bills. Her health has been deteriorating for a while. It was getting harder and harder for her to walk and get around. Eventually, she got so bad she couldn't get up off the couch. She didn't have phone service at her house and couldn't call anyone until I went to check on her a couple of days later. She went to the hospital, then to rehab for therapy. She lived in a camper. It was in bad shape. Her water line had been broken, and she wasn't able to get it fixed. She only had so many amps to the camper, not enough electricity to run the necessities, and didn't have lights. The sewer system was never set up correctly. She hired people several times to come fix things, but when they left, they were never fixed. A family member felt her camper was unlivable and pulled it off. She is fixing to be discharged from rehab at the nursing home and has no home to go to. She is on a fixed income, social security, and is no longer able to work. I'm trying to raise money to get her place brush hogged and cleared off so we can see what she has to work with. She has an electric pole and septic tank further back on her lot. Once that is done, we want to look at getting a small building (same order as a tiny home) or a camper. She doesn't have the funds to pay for the work. Please help if you can and share.
