I'm going to keep this as simple and honest as I can.

I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I was approved for disability, but there was a 5-month wait before payments started. During that time, we fell behind and used everything we had just to get by.

To try to keep up, we were doing DoorDash for extra income—but now our vehicle is failing, and without a car, that option is gone.

It's just my husband and me, and he is our only steady income.

Right now, the most urgent issue is our vehicle.

If it stops working, he can't get to work. If he can't work, we lose our only income. That's how immediate this is.

We're also trying to catch up on:

- $2,500 electric bill

- Rent (our landlord has been working with us, but we're still behind)

We do have a medical protection in place to keep the electric from being shut off right away, but the balance still has to be paid.

We've used all our savings and have nothing left to fall back on.

We are trying to raise $8,500 to cover:

- $4,000 for a reliable vehicle (most urgent)

- $2,500 electric bill

- $1,250 toward rent

- Basic costs to stay stable
