Urgent Need To Overcome Medical and Financial Costs

Urgent help needed. After breaking my right arm in 7/2023, followed by a long road of recovery and another surgery for rotator cuff 8/2024, I did not expect to fall again a few months ago 2/2025 & yet again dislocate & fracture my left arm. But this injury I’ve not been as lucky—I now have injury to a nerve and have stayed swollen & numb. We are experimenting with a nerve med, but it is not helping much 2 weeks in. A scan will be required next month if the issue doesn’t resolve. I’m not seeing enough improvement & stay in constant pain. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Physical therapy helps for movement and I’m still in assisted therapy (can’t move my arm as much on my own).

I was hoping Unemployment would be kicking in, as I have now gone 3 months with no income. My employer was supposed to have me on emergency & unpaid medical leave & that would have tide me over, but it was denied. I have an appeal hearing end of May. Even in all that, the bills do not stop.

I didn’t want to lean on anyone or ask for help from anyone. I am fortunate to have emergency medical insurance for some of the expenses. Not all costs or medications are covered. I do not have any other help and do not qualify for other programs, I’ve sought out church charity where I’ve been turned down or handed a Bible—that doesn’t pay the bills unfortunately. I appreciate the sentiment, but I am in dire need of help with miscellaneous medical, fuel costs to get to necessary appointments, including twice a week PT and monthly surgery follow-ups/xrays, and then my regular bills. The medical and fuel is the most important.

I know many are struggling, but if you are able to give any assistance during a dire time for me, I shall be forever grateful. I’m tired of crying myself to sleep at night, worrying about this nerve pain and if I’ll have a permanent disability, and the financial stresses on top of that. When I’m back on my feet I will pay things forward. I usually try to help/donate to people when I can because I truly know the struggle. It’s very hard to ask for myself. Please if you can help, I so appreciate any help.
