I am Stevie Jackson, a 38 year old woman with several chronic illnesses including Stage 4 deep infiltrating Endometriosis which resulted in ovarian cancer in 2023. I am still recovering from a wealth of health issues including recovery from chemo, recovery from cpr, recovery from radical hysterectomy surgery (all sexual reproduction organs removed) and unfortunately my endometriosis has returned which has the threat of evolving into cancer.

I have been unable to work since 2019 ever since I was let go for collapsing infront of a customer due to severe pain - chronic and acute pain that effects all aspects of my life.

Normal tasks like cooking and cleaning have become near impossible, I am only able to bathe once every few weeks due to debilitating pain and poor balance issues. I used to be extremely capable but as a result of cancer a lot of my capabilities have dwindled. I'm currently under threat of having breast cancer and have to wait for a month to find out my results.

I am in the middle of applying for centrelink but the it will be well over a month before I become approved. I will be applying for disability as I simply am unable to work due to my failing body.

I need help covering my rent and water this week as we are now in arrears. I am panicked because I have had to make the decision to spend the last of my money on my medication which is unfortunately expensive as only half my medications are covered by a health care card.

There is a high probability of eviction if I don't get this sorted as soon as possible.

It does not feel good to ask for financial help, but here I am asking if any of you folk could spare some kindness and dollars to help see me through this very vulnerable spot I have found myself in.
