Hi my name is Milica and I am fundraising for my brother-in-law Igor Pavlovic.
My name is Igor Pavlovic, I am 41 years old, I am married and I am a member of a family of six. My wife and I have three daughters and one son. Last year, in November, I suddenly felt sick and after getting numerous tests done, I was immediately hospitalized and it was determined that both my kidneys had failed.
On that occasion, a catheter was inserted into my neck because I had to receive dialysis urgently due to the fact that my life was in danger. The findings were so bad that it was questionable whether I would be able to push through numerous dialysis sessions. The only solution is a kidney transplant. With the support of my family, I regularly go to dialysis 3 times a week for a duration of 4 hours and 30 minutes. Dialysis itself implies numerous limitations, first of all, the introduction of fluids into the body. Food intake is also very limited and we are not allowed to eat many types of food, because it affects the rest of the body because my kidneys do not function and other organs are exposed to danger from damage. Dialysis is aggressive and every year of dialysis reduces the chance of a successful kidney transplant.
Due to mandatory dialysis, three times a week, I was forced to change my workplace, which ultimately resulted in a reduction in the financial resources I use to support my family. Also, one of the problems is the necessary medicine I need to buy abroad, and the insurance cannot reimburse the costs for reasons that do not fall under that category in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Given that my wife and I work and that our living expenses have increased greatly due to my illness, while at the same time we are educating three children and paying for for preschool for our youngest daughter that is not 2 yet, we are in a very difficult financial situation.
I was given the chance to perform a kidney transplant. And thus resume a normal life. I would like to ask everyone who can help to make some contribution so that I can continue with a normal life. In July, i was told me that I had a chance, but in order for me to get a transplant done is when a donor is found, the only thing left for me is to raise funds so I can go there for surgery (kidney transplant). I am asking from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is able to help me and my family to collect the funds I need as soon as possible and to go for organ transplantation.
Waiting for an organ affects the normal life of me and my family, there is a lot of exposure to daily stress, which affects the normal development of the family. The only way to return to a normal/suitable life is to receive an organ and its transplantation, for my family it would mean a new beginning, for us it is a new chance for me and my family to be happy again. Please donate any amount.
Thank you,
Pavlovic Family.
Zovem se Igor Pavlovic imam 41 godinu ozenjen sam i član sam šestočlane porodice.Supruga i ja imamo tri kćeri i jednog sina.
