My name is Tina Campbell, and I’m reaching out today as a Nana doing what Nanas do best—loving, nurturing, advocating, and believing in the power of community to lift a child toward something brighter.
Let me introduce you to someone incredibly dear to me:
Ezra Vivianna.
Ezra is the daughter of Greg and Alyssa Delong—
affectionately known by her Papi and myself as 'Little Pip',
because she arrived in this world following a traumatic delivery a NICU stay, and made her presence known with the tiniest little 'pips' and squeaks that stole our hearts.
Ezra has blossomed—from just 4 pounds into a radiant, spirited light. She’s clever, joyful, and bursting with heart. She lives with ONH (Optic Nerve Hypoplasia), Epilepsy, Autism, and blindness. Though Ezra doesn’t see with her eyes—she sees with her heart. Currently, she’s learning Braille and how to walk with her white cane.
Right now, Ezra is facing something even more complex—an escalating seizure disorder. These seizures are unpredictable, frequent, and frightening. She rarely makes it through more than an hour or two of school without needing to be sent home. She endures frequent ER visits, hospital stays, medication changes, and the emotional toll that comes with so much uncertainty. Yet through it all, she radiates quiet courage and joy far beyond her five years.
That’s why Greg and Alyssa are doing all they can to provide Ezra with the one thing that could dramatically improve her daily life -
A fully trained, specially certified service dog, skilled in:
1. Seizure alert and emergency response
2. Autism-related sensory support and behavior redirection
3. Blindness navigation and orientation assistance
This service dog isn’t just a helper—it’s a lifeline. A stabilizing, loving force to keep her safe, calm, and confidently connected to her world.
The cost of this dog, plus its training, fencing, vehicle safety gear, etc., is tremendous.
Ezra has been officially approved by a respected nonprofit program that trains highly specialized service dogs for children with complex needs. The full cost is $40,000.00, but Greg and Alyssa are responsible for half: $20,000.00.
However, this does not include the cost of fence installation for Ezra and the dogs safety while outdoors, vehicle safety equipment for the dog, initial vet costs, or supplies, and why I am asking for $30,000.00.
Our goal of 30,000 will help cover the full cost of the service dog, initial supplies, necessary travel, and transition expenses. This amount also accounts for the platform fees GoFundMe deducts from the total funds raised, ensuring Ezra receives everything she needs without falling short due to processing costs.
Once funded, Ezra will be placed on the list to receive her dog. But the wait after payment is 2 to 2.5 years—and every day without this dog is a risk Ezra can’t afford. She needs this support now, not years from now.
I'm writing this GoFundMe on behalf of her family, and from the deepest part of my Nana's heart. I’m asking you to join us in blessing Ezra with this life-changing gift. Every donation brings her closer. Every share spreads her story. Every prayer lifts her journey.
If you feel moved to give—a dollar, a share, a prayer, or a kind word—please know: every gesture matters. Even the smallest gift becomes part of something greater when hearts come together.
Please help us share Ezra’s story. Spread it through your church, workplace, community, or social media.
Your voice may be the one that carries this blessing home.
From our family’s hearts to yours—thank you for considering being part of Little Pip’s
journey.
With hugs, love, hope, and deepest gratitude,
The Campbells -
Alan & Tina
