URGENT NEED for a friend of G (Gabrielle Peters)

The friend wishes to remain anonymous for various valid reasons and would prefer if we did not discuss too many details about their situation or disability.

This involves a landlord tenant situation where, despite repeated requests and ample documentation including by people hired by the landlord that urged repairs be done, the landlord refused. The professional that was hired also stated unequivocally that the tenant bore no responsibility for the repairs needed as the problem lay outside the unit. Despite this the landlord refused to do any repair work resulting in the current crisis event that has left the unit uninhabitable.

Gabrielle has arranged a place for this person to stay temporarily, but there is an urgent need for funds to cover the cost of movers and a storage locker for whatever they are able to salvage. This person may also need to replace many of their belongings including clothing, bed and furniture, bedding, towels, etc.

If sufficient funds are raised they may also be used for legal advice and/or representation. Launching a legal action may not be accessible to this person at the moment however. The goal right now is harm reduction and to limit the amount of additional stress and trauma this adds to their life.

If there is sufficient funding, some may be used for private therapy.
