Urgent Need: A Vehicle for Bryan's Family

Hello, most of you know me by Montana. My real name is Bryan. I am trying to raise funds for a down payment to get our family a new used vehicle. We are a family of 6. It has been one thing after another for the last 2 months. It doesn't seem to be letting up. From kids ending up in the hospital, our washing machine going out, the cold weather breaking my car's windshield that I use to get back and forth to work, and now the wife's vehicle that she uses to get the kids back and forth to school and appointments, as well as do all our grocery shopping and such, has now gone completely out.

I am paying the mechanic over $500 to tell me he's not exactly sure what is wrong, and he's done this for over 40 years. His best guess is jumped timing and the motor will need to be replaced. The vehicle also has high mileage and the front end is ready to go.

We desperately need a new used vehicle for the wife to do her motherly things. I am not looking for a handout as I will pass forward any generosity I can when I'm able to do so. It's just everything hit at once and wiped out the little we had. And to top it off, the taxes I was going to use towards a down payment are now going to be months out, if at all.
