On Tuesday, January 6th, at 3:00 AM, a devastating fire broke out in my father’s apartment in Queens. This home, where he has lived for decades—for my entire life—is now completely destroyed.

He has lost absolutely everything. All his clothing, furniture, essential tools for his work, irreplaceable family photo albums, and all his personal possessions are gone.
