On Tuesday, January 6th, at approximately 3:00 AM, a devastating fire broke out in my father’s apartment in Queens. This home has been the cornerstone of our family for decades—it’s where my father lived and where my sisters and I were raised. It is now completely destroyed.

We have lost absolutely everything. All of our clothing, furniture, and personal possessions—including irreplaceable family photo albums— as well as all remnants of recently lost loved ones…all gone. The loss is immeasurable, both financially and emotionally. Our family is heartbroken and struggling to process this devastating event.

A Father Who Always Gave

My father is the kind of person who has spent his entire life helping others. I have never seen him turn away anyone who needed help or a shoulder to lean on. He consistently goes out of his way for friends, family, and even strangers, never asking for anything in return.

His character and generosity has always been something that I’ve admired and made me the man I am today. It made my sisters into the independent, strong young women they are today. Now, in our darkest hour, we are humbly asking for support to help us.

Our Immediate Needs

• Starting Over: Help securing a new permanent residence and replacing basic household goods and furniture, as we literally have to start from scratch.
