Urgent!! Mutual Aid Needed After Sudden Job Loss

Hello! My name is Mikhayla, and I am an immigration attorney who recently moved to Tampa, FL from Bethesda, MD. On my second day in Florida, my job - which had previously agreed to let me work remote - suddenly informed me that I would be required to perform multiple months of casework in a matter of days, or else my job would be at risk. Despite filling the requirements which were asked of me, today in a meeting that lasted ten minutes I was informed that I would be let go effective immediately. I cleared out my savings to move to Tampa after a hostile living situation forced me to move three months earlier than planned. Additionally, because of the licensing requirements in Florida, the only way to gain a new license is to study for the bar exam here and attempt to gain a local license so that I can resume work as an attorney, helping the many people who need legal representation in the immigration system.

However, at this point, I cannot afford to pay my bills, much less take several months to study and pay for a licensing exam. Unfortunately, I do not have any family I can rely on for support at this time. Because I was let go for cause, and because I have only been in Florida for a few weeks, it is likely that I am ineligible for unemployment benefits. What's more, I have quite a bit of debt. My situation is quite desperate, so I could really use any help anyone might be willing to give. It is my hope that if I raise enough money to cover expenses, I can work towards eventually gaining a Florida license or some other certification which would allow me to keep performing the work I love.
